Tony Cragg - Royal Academy Modern British Sculpture Exhibition 2011.

Tony Cragg, Ever after (2006-2010) 

 I saw Tony Cragg's(b.1949 Liverpool.) Stack(1975) at the Royal Academy's Modern British Sculpture Exhibition in February this year.During research I came across some of his more recent work which has a strong sense of kinetic movement. The sculptures frequently begin with drawings whose anthropomorphic shapes are stretched and skewed when projected in three dimensions.I'm inspired by this contemporary practice of moving between different media.
